Improving food security, self-reliance, and income generation through programs like irrigation scheme rehabilitation, agro-pastoral support, and gender-based initiatives in credit and loans.
Youth Resource Centre and Vocational Trainings
Providing educational and skill-building opportunities to empower youth and women, including establishing vocational training centers and offering customized internships and mentoring programs.
Offering primary health care services, promoting HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, and reducing social stigmatization of those affected through counseling centers and networks.
Social mobilization and Advocacy on governance and human rights Programs
Raising community awareness about social issues, promoting policies for positive development, and educating youth and women on governance, human rights, and democracy.

Supporting formal and non-formal education, empowering youth and women, and providing capacity building and training, including classroom rehabilitation and mentoring programs.
Peace Building
Fostering peace, unity, and justice by organizing community workshops on peace building, human rights, and good governance.
Protection of GBV
Strengthening protection for vulnerable groups by monitoring and reporting GBV cases and offering referral systems for trauma healing, psychosocial support, and basic services.
Sustainable Environmental Management and Protection Programme
Promoting environmentally friendly practices through research, campaigns, and consultancy services in environmental management and assessment.
Greening the Future: Bamboo Afforestation for Climate Resilience and Livelihoods – Jubaland
As part of the ongoing efforts to promote sustainable environmental management and improve community livelihoods, a community mobilization and sensitization event was held today in Jubaland under the “Greening the Future” Bamboo Afforestation Initiative.
Restoring hope through bamboo yadas green transformation initiative in jubaland
Recently, YADA led a community-driven bamboo planting exercise along the Kismaayo–Jilib Highway, bringing together youth, local leaders, and residents to take practical action for a greener and more sustainable Jubaland.
